Inspire Maple Ridge: A Pre-Sale Entry Point Below $350K
Inspire: multi-phase condo development by Platinum Group at 22229 Brown Avenue, Town Centre Maple Ridge. Building 1 complete, Building 2 selling.
Inspire Condos, Maple Ridge: Pre-Sale Review 2026
By Alex Dunbar, REALTOR · REAL Broker BC Ltd. · Updated April 2026
Inspire is one of the most accessible new homes in the Fraser Valley. Junior 1-bedrooms from $344,900 with a 5% upfront deposit (~$17,250) secures a unit. No other Metro Vancouver pre-sale matches that entry. Developer is Platinum Group of Companies, a known local Maple Ridge builder. The phased plan has Building 1 already complete and occupied, so you can walk through a finished product before committing. Building 2 is selling now, spring 2026 completion. The trade-off is location: Town Centre Maple Ridge is the most walkable address in the city but it's not Surrey City Centre. This review walks the pricing and the real compromises.

The Phased Advantage: Building 1 Is Already Built
Building 1 is complete and occupied. You can walk through a finished Inspire unit today, evaluate actual finishes (not renders), check the elevator, ride the hallways, and talk to residents. This is a significant advantage over every pre-sale that exists only as marketing material. It also demonstrates Platinum has executed on this site before.
Before signing on Building 2, book a Building 1 tour. Look for: sound transmission, finish quality, amenity usability, elevator reliability, strata fee trajectory from the occupied building. This is the single most valuable due diligence step you can take on any Maple Ridge pre-sale.
Location: Town Centre Maple Ridge
Inspire's Town Centre address, Golden Ears and North Shore mountains framing the north view.
22229 Brown Avenue, Town Centre Maple Ridge, BC. Haney Place Mall, Save-On-Foods, and West Coast Express station all within walking distance.
What's good: most walkable location in Maple Ridge. Groceries (Save-On-Foods), Haney Place Mall, restaurants within a few blocks. West Coast Express station nearby (commuter rail to downtown Vancouver in 54 min, limited peak service). Alouette River access for trails.
What's not: Town Centre Maple Ridge is not Town Centre Surrey. Walkability is improving but limited. Vancouver commute is long unless you take the West Coast Express. Daily car use is still expected.
Pricing & Deposit
All prices below are before GST. Add 5% GST on top. Junior 1-bedroom at $344,900 may qualify for a partial federal GST New Housing Rebate (up to ~$6,300), rare in Metro Vancouver 2026. Units above $450K owe full GST.
| Unit Type | Price From | 5% Deposit | 10% Total Deposit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jr. 1-bed | $344,900 | $17,245 | $34,490 |
| 1-bed | $409,900 | $20,495 | $40,990 |
| 2-bed | $479,900 | $23,995 | $47,990 |
| 3-bed | $589,900 | $29,495 | $58,990 |
The deposit structure is unusually buyer-friendly. 5% upfront + 5% at 90 days means you only need ~$17K to secure a junior 1-bed. Entry-level units may already be spoken for, confirm current available inventory and pricing directly.
Who Should Buy
Inspire interior: white shaker cabinets, marble-look quartz backsplash, stainless appliance package, island seating.
Good fit:
- First-time buyers with ~$17K saved. $344,900 entry + 5% upfront is as accessible as Metro Vancouver new construction gets.
- Buyers who want to see a finished unit before committing. Building 1 is walk-throughable.
- Buyers comfortable with Platinum's Maple Ridge track record. Established local builder.
- West Coast Express commuters. Station nearby, reasonable option if your schedule matches the trains.
- Small-family buyers. 3-bed from $589,900 is a real option in Metro Vancouver.
Not a good fit:
- Buyers who want concrete construction. Highpointe is the concrete alternative.
- Daily Vancouver commuters on non-WCE schedules. 60-90 min door-to-door is typical.
- Buyers expecting urban walkability. Town Centre Maple Ridge is still developing.
- Buyers who want resort amenities. The Falls has a pool + hot tub, Inspire does not.
What the Developer Won't Put on the Brochure
1. Unit sizes aren't in the public marketing
Without sqft, you can't calculate $/sqft or compare to Highpointe, Solana, or resale. Get the floor plans at the sales centre. Don't commit without that number.
2. Entry-level units may already be gone
$344,900 is the marketing anchor. Actual available inventory starts higher. Ask what's left in each unit type today.
3. Building 1 is the real reference, not the sales centre
Walk Building 1 at multiple times of day. Listen for sound transmission, check elevator wait times, look at common area wear 1-2 years in. That's a more honest picture than marketing can paint.
4. The commute is real
Maple Ridge residents spend more on transportation than housing, according to local data. If you're moving here from Vancouver for affordability, budget your car costs realistically before the math works.
5. Wood-frame sound transmission is a real thing
Building 2 is wood-frame like Building 1. If you care about this, Highpointe's concrete construction will cost more but deliver different acoustic experience. Evaluate both before choosing.
